One Thing That Will Make Everything Easier

So I don’t know about ya’ll but I have absolutely been loving these weekly videos.  Sometimes things are just easier said on video.  Sometimes they’re easier said through writing.  So with THAT being said, bring on this hybrid blog / vlog / LIVE video type of thing that’s been happening.  It’s new for me but I’m rolling with it.    

This week I talked about something that is very near and dear to my heart, but also something that I have not been vocal about in the past.  

I felt called to go LIVE on Sunday evening because I just couldn’t stop thinking about this thing.  This one thing that has made every last bit of difference in my world and I am being so serious when I say, has literally made EVERYTHING in my life easier.  

And who doesn’t want easier?  Nobody, that’s who.  

So without further ado, what is this magical thing you ask?  

Intuition.

Plain and simple.  That gut feeling that you get in the pit of your stomach (though sometimes I feel mine in my heart as well) that you just cannot deny.  Like you try and try but it just keeps coming up.  

Until you listen.  And trust.

But I’m getting ahead of myself.  

So on this week’s LIVE video, I talked about a friend of mine who is having a rocky time in a relationship and essentially struggling with whether to continue with the relationship or end it. Without meaning to, her mantra became “but I don’t know .. I don’t know .. I don’t know” and ya wanna know what?  She was right (for that moment at least) and was having a really hard time coming to a conclusion.  

But ya wanna know something else?

She did actually know.  She just didn’t know how to access her knowing.  

So we talked things through and she felt better after a little while.

One of the major things we talked about was figuring out how to get to that knowing, even when it feels scary and unknown and doesn’t make sense or feels uncomfortable in the moment.  

I resonated with her struggle because prior to this current slice of time, I had struggled with the exact same thing.

I consistently walked around feeling like there was “a way” to do things .. and that I was never doing it “that way”.  

Have you ever felt like that before?  

It used to be a daily occurrence for me.  

Needless to say, I don’t feel like that anymore but I distinctly remember the feeling.

And it did not feel good.  

So how did I get out of it?  

It was a journey to say the least but the thing that allowed me to strengthen the intuition muscle just like I was strengthening all the other muscles in my body (and brain) was trust.  

That’s it.  Just trust.  

Sounds simple right?  That’s because it is.  

One of the easiest ways to strengthen your intuition is to trust that you’re using it.  Because the reality is that you are using it every single day of your life, you just don’t often pay attention to it when it’s things like deciding that you’re going to take the dog for a walk earlier than you had planned or moving your vacation to the weekend of the 23rd instead of the 30th. But that’s your intuition.  And it’s all happening just as it needs to.  For you instead of to you.     
I titled this blog The One Thing That Will Make Everything Easier because once you begin to tune into your intuition on a regular basis you realize that you always have a built in support system.  Always.  And that you are always gently (or sometimes not so gently) being guided to people, things, experiences, and situations that are for your highest good, highest potential, and highest purpose.

And when you realize that and know that nothing (not a single thing) is out of place or not on time you can relax.  And trust your gut.  And live your life with ease.
